Updated February 7th, 2007 The Mio C310x's star hasn't faded since it became the "Black Friday Star" of 2006 and many users can't believe their luck when they realize it can do much more than guide them to their destination, the FAQ/INDEX of the www.mionav.com forums on GpsPasSion is a good place to start for that.
Still they remain GPS Navigation devices and that experience can be enhanced with the "skins" some skillfull forum members are sharing in this thread of the forums. One good example is Roscoe's "Journey" skin with its green tabs that look like the signs on the freeways, enjoy !
Updated October 31st, 2006 - Most of us here are probably past the age of knocking on doors and saying "trick or treat", but owners of iGO/MioMap navigation based systems can reminisce on these fond memories with the help of their GPS skinned with DROUDOWEEN...

Posted October 29th - These days most GPS Assisted Navigation systems will take you to your destination, albeit sometimes with an odd routing decision, but we've come to rely on them and take them for granted really. To spice this up, how about some "skinning", the act of customizing the looks of your navigation system !
Some solutions make that possible and even easy for those with programming and artistic the skills, others like us will be happy to try out their creations thanks to the "skin exchange". You can head out >> HERE << for the MioMap v3.2 (iGo) based systems, Mio C210, C310x, H610, C510 and C710 and >> HERE << for Lowrance iWay 500c skins.
