Updated 04/10/2006 MemoryMap have just launched a Windows Smartphone version of their popular PC and PocketPC software. The Symbian platform had some capable All Terrain programs like SmartCom but the Windows Smartphones had no such solution yet. No "tracking up" feature, but they are breaking some new ground with free live weather radar overlays. You can use this thread of the Smartphone forums to discuss.
Updated 10/14/2005 - Back in September some of our active "all-terrain" members noticed that version 5.0.0 had been quietly released and while it had carried some nice improvements such as the "fly through" mode, some tweaks were needed and this is what 5.0.1 aims to do, more details in this thread of the "All-Terrain GPS" forums...

Updated 04/07 Memory-Map sees the arrival of a new version with an interesting list of improvements but the big news is that you can now use it for real time tracking, something that would come in handy for an outing with PDA/GPS/GPRS equipped friends - more details in the forums where you will also find a wishlist... to possibly have "your" feature added to the next version, mine is "heading up" map display!
Updated 01/14/05 Richard tells us in the forums that an update to v4.4.0 is available for download. Notable new features include full high-resolution support for VGA http://www.gpspassion.com/pics/news/mmsp.jpgPocketPCs and LOC & GPX file support, something geocachers should find convenient...As a reminder v4.3.1 had added full screen display and custom "navigation info" fields.
Updated 03/29/04 An update to v.4.2.1 is available. New features include an enhanced 3D mode, including a "3D fly through" command, more flexible overlay management and a new "night mode" on the PocketPC version (...)

- The Memory-Map review has been updated by Lombard0 following the relase of v4. One notable new item is the addition of a 3D view mode.
