Deluo (a GpsPasSion Club member) just announced the BlackBox GPS
The BlackBox GPS lets you record your vehicle's location, speed, and time for later analysis. Since the data is downloaded over Bluetooth, this means you can also use the "BlackBox" GPS as a standard Bluetooth GPS.
The BlackBox GPS is available for pre-order at $249 with the regular price being set at $289. It will start shipping on August 15th.

The geeks at Deluo have found a very decisive way to help businesses and families answer the question: "Where have you been?" The Deluo Black Box GPS (TM) is a powerful device that allows for the "passive" tracking of a vehicle, boat or plane. It constantly records your vehicle's location, speed, and time (Note: no in-car computer is required).
Simply install the Deluo Black Box GPS into your vehicle, and it will continuously record information according to time intervals or distance (we let you decide). When your vehicle arrives home, you can wirelessly download detailed vehicle information from your car, to your home PC, laptop or PDA using Bluetooth (TM) technology. As an extra "bonus," this device is also a Bluetooth (TM) enabled GPS that lends itself to navigation applications. While in the vehicle, you can wirelessly connect the Deluo BlackBox GPS (TM) to your laptop or palm-sized computer and run your favorite street or marine navigation software.
Use it with your favorite NMEA protocol mapping software to plan and follow your course, or to playback your recorded data. For powerful street navigation software, we highly recommend purchasing our Routis "talking" software.
How it Works
The built-in GPS receiver constantly tracks and records the vehicle's information, even when the engine is off. The Deluo Blackbox GPS (TM) records location, speed, heading and time to its internal memory based upon user-defined time or distance intervals.
When the vehicle enters the range of a Bluetooth (TM) enabled device (approximately 30 feet), data can be downloaded using the user-friendly Deluo BlackBox GPS (TM) Manager. This application allows you not only to download the vehicle data, but also to generate reports based upon maximum speeds, stops, visits to known places and other filters. These reports can then be exported and played back from your favorite mapping application (Rand McNally's StreetFinder software included).
Once downloaded to your computer, the data can then be archived for future reference. This application can be scaled up for enterprise solutions; especially useful for business specializing in trucking, delivery services/fleet management, car-rentals, asset tracking, and much much more.
Finally, the Deluo Blackbox GPS (TM) also serves as a Bluetooth-enabled GPS receiver. Without interfering with the logging capabilities, you can use your GPS receiver for in-car navigation applications with your laptop or palm-sized computer (PDA). The Deluo Black Box GPS (TM) sends NMEA 0183 data wirelessly to your Bluetooth enabled device every second, which is then interpreted by navigation software to get you to a destination intelligently.
