Downloaded the Mac zip for the 2100Max and it said it is 2Q 2010. Works ok .

Yes, I hope they update it also. Still no luck with POI's. I have sent a message to Navigon, although I am not holding my breath for a response. It has to be something with the downloaded file since the older versions work.

| I have the same problem. I have Navigon 8100T downloaded fresh maps Q3 2010 and lost all POI . I think they have software problem.. Please help. |

| Navigon sent a response to the message I sent about the 8100T not showing POI's with the latest Q3/2010 download. The link was the same as the 2100Max link posted here, but with 8100T installed in place of 2100MAX. Anyway the end result is the same. No POI's displayed for any selected city. I have wrote back, but no response yet. |

i was surprised to see this update was released on time and so soon after the last one. hopefully navigon keeps it up.
i noticed a couple differences on the 7100. first, my audio had stopped working on the previous version. that was fixed in this one. also the lane assist graphics have changed. they seem to be a little easier to follow. |

I just got the latest map update for my 2200T. At first I did not notice anything, except that it may be slightly faster (my 2200 has been very slow).
But then I noticed that they completely changed how reality view and exit view look now. The images are much more 3D with much clearer arrows and bigger easier to read signs.
I am not entirely sure I like that change. It looks great, but I more interested how it displays crowded junctions with many options and if you have two maneuvers one right after another, something it did quite well previously.
When I simulated the Reality View preview route I did notice the TTS routed to 580 "W" not 580 West, which it does sometimes, something my old 2100 does not do as far as I remember.
Anybody have any comments on the new reality view?

| According to my Freshmaps records, my three year quarterly updates expire in August of this year. I'm wondering if Navigon will offer any renewal option for U.S. customers? It will be interesting to see what they do. |

Good question...and a question I asked Navigon on their booth at Macworld 2011 last week.
Unfortunately they are not planning on offering Freshmaps renewals, which is consistent with the fact that Freshmaps subscriptions are no longer being sold (probably haven't been for two years). The only hope would be to find some unactivated Freshmaps cards...probably a long shot. |

| There are still a some FreshMaps cards floating around out there for sale, I guess the more important question is will Navigon still keep publishing the updates for another 3 years. |

The service is up and running and Europe and they have US maps for the iPhone so it's probably pretty easy for them to keep it going. Besides you can probably buy US maps via Navigon Fresh for a European AIO.
Where have you seen these cards recently ? |
