If you log the track on the data card of your CSx the limmitation of trackpoints is 86400 (when "record methode" is set on "time" and "interval" is set on 1 sec, it will give you a file of ~2MB)a day, every new day a new file will start, all data is being saved.
The only thing is that you can't see these tracks on the screen of your CSx, it's for use on your pc at home.

P.S. if you switch off loging in the 2nd screen, the loging on the data card will allso stop.
P.S. if you uncheck the checkbox left of "wrap when full" in the 3rd srceen, the logging in the internal memory of you csx will stop, the logging on the data card will continue.
On the last screen you see a set of files, the daily tracks, the CSx will show only 50(?) files, but the limit of files depends on the space you have on the data card.
So if you have 1 GB left on your data card you can store 500 files of 2MB, but in normal use ("auto" and "more often") your files won't be this big.
Once you have checked the checkbox on the last screen, all tracks will be saved automaticaly on your data card, day after day after day.

Jaccob, thanks a lot for your help.
If I chose 'distance' and '0.02 km', is the behavior the same as 'auto' and 'most often' in saving concernings, differing only in files size?
My sd card is 4Gb. Does CSx reach that amount?
Regards

If you chose for "auto" there will be more points in curves and less points in straith parts of the road, in most cases "auto" is the better setting.
When you want to geotag your digital photo's, putting your location in the exif file of a photo, then "time" is sometimes the better setting, I never used distance.

I think, if your not traveling for month's without access to a computer 4GB is more than enough, so I think you have to figure that out for yourself, if your firmware is not to old you can find your memorycard usage somewhere on your CSx, I think when you press <menu> in the last screen.
Can't make a screenshot from it because my pc isn't working anymore since yesterday, I'm now using a very small laptop so I can't make screenshots.

J@cob,
When 'wrap when full' NOT checked, will the system save any 10,000 points several times a day if necessary? If checked, it saves once a day?

When "wrap when full" is not checked the logging will stop after 10.000 points, on the sd card it continues. When you delete the track, the track recording will start again.

The logs in the internal memory of the CSx and the logs on the sd card are two seperate files, it's not that when the internal log reached 10.000 points it is moved or copied to the sd card.

So in case of "wrap when full" is not checked the first 10.000 points of your trip is logged an visible on the screen.
If it is checked the last 10.000 points are logged and visible on the screen.
On the sd card all points are logged, but not visible on the screen.
