Until now noone claimed this. Appearently most people can live with this. Also with current devices having >= 128 MB RAM it never should be a problem. If compressed, only applications' load time is additionally affected, probably ~1 sec longer.
Hint: Simply decompress them all, if it's a necessity for you.  |

Hello, i Have mio C520 (I'm from Europe) I'm trying to unlock the SD card since MIO has left us without updates. Im trying and trying, not sure what am i doing wrong, but unfortunately it does not automatically install miopocket 4.0 onto my device. I've formatted the SD card. Copied everything that had in Media folder and in MioAutoRun folder (also Mioautorun.exe and .msrc along with mortscript), or should i copy them with thouse folders? Well, tried it, but didn't work either

| I have mio c520. Now i have miopocket 4.0 on it. Can i upload new maps with that? Or is it just a app that gives you more options, because when i uploaded iGo8 map, it said that it's locked. Any support? Need updated maps for my device:) thank you |

| For instance you could try to download Mapfactor Navigator Free and use current openstreetmaps. On the other hand you could try to buy some navigation software including maps. I'ld prefer the first method ;) |

STOP SPAMMING THIS THREAD: IT'S MIOPOCKET ONLY! Create a new thread, if needed.
BTW: iGO you downloaded somewhere is pirated software, in no case supported here. Same with any other commercial navigation software/maps. |

| I just installed miopocket on my gps and It works except for the media player it freezes whenever i try to open a file it brings up the player but a blank screen then freezes and i have to shut it off and turn it back on, any fix for this? maybe im missing files cause when i try some of the games they dont open full screen and stuff i had to install it directly to flashdrive because it wouldnt work on SD card |

On a video I see a Multi Launcher GPS (a very simply Miopocket, sure) install under Wince6.
Do you know it's name or a link to Download ?

Warning: SD-free installation involves modifying files on the flash drive. This can very easily render your device inoperable and be hard (if not impossible) to undo. It is especially not recommended for newer Mio models, including the Moov and Spirit models.

The 'Warning' you cited is to be found in MioPocket's Readme in section 2.2b Method #2: Flash Disk (SD-Free) Installation. My advice is: read the whole current thread to see whether peoples already reported problems with an SD-Free installation on Mio Spirit 470 devices. It's NOT the task of anybody here to do this for you. Or, to speed up things, do an appropriate Google-search, as others do, ex. "MioPocket 4.0 Mio Spirit 470".

hello to all...
i have successfuly install miopocket 4.0 on my insigna ns-cnv43 but i have problem with bluetooth...first option: toggle bluetooth (nothing happens) second option:run custom bluetooth app, give me .net cf initialization error, to run this app you must first install following version of the .net compact framework: v3.5.7238, third option: enable bluetooth audio gateway service gives me bluetooth audio gateway service is not supported on this device.
that .net cf error also gives me on some games but other runs normaly.
i also have a minor problem(coz dont need it a lot) with media player when i want to load subtitles, i try to enter to sd card and than everything freezes and i cant do nothing with my cnv43...only reset button helps. |
