Maybe you could upload it to another platform, e.g. rapidshare etc.? |

Hello guys. I got Mio R503T and installed MioPocket 4.0 Release 68. I got it running from an sd-card. It works good for a while and then the iGO8 doesn't want to exit. It gets stuck at 'Exiting, Please wait' screen. Rewriting MioAutoRun folder on a sd-card (which doesn't have any iGO related software) fixes the problem till the next time it decides not to exit again. Do you know what maybe gets corrupted or why it is happening. |

| The Mio Moov R503T comes with MioMap and Tele Atlas Maps, not iGO. The iGO you have installed seems to be an illegal copy, because you can't purchase iGO anywhere. It's against the forum rules to discuss issues that arose using pirated software. BTW: MioPocket doesn't influence a navigation's software exit behaviour. |

Miopocket 4.0 on Insignia NS-NAV01: How do I enable .NET Compact Framework (CF) 3.5?
I see that it is installed in the \SDMMC\MioAutoRun\Programs\Microsoft .NET CF 3.5 directory. But when I run HelloWorldCF20.exe by double clicking on it in Windows Explorer it says "This application requires a newer version of the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework than the version installed on the device." Also, \Windows\cgacutil.exe reports that my CF version is only 1.0.4292.00. I believe this is the version installed in the flash of the NS-NAV01.
The .NET Config utility in the Settings menu reports that I have versions 1.0.4292.0, 2.0.5238.0, and 3.5.7283.0 installed. I have set the device policy and the application policy for the 3.5 version, but I still get the same version error when double clicking on HelloWorldCF20.exe in Windows Explorer. Should I be starting this app a different way? Or is there something I should do to enable .NET CF 3.5?
Any help is much appreciated. Thanks, Brad |

@729257,
First of all, the issue you have has nothing to do with MioPocket itself, this thread is dedicated to. Secondly, at first glance, it seems to me wrong versioned mscoree.dll in \Windows. Must be mscoree.dll that is part of .NET CF 3.5. It's on you to ensure wrong versioned mscoree.dll gets overridden at bootup with correct one. Or doing it via the brute force method: you copy correct mscoree.dll in each .NET application folder. Finally, you do a Google search if you need more informations on how to setup .NET CF 3.5. |

I'm trying to install MioPocket 4.0 Release 68 on a Magellan Roadmate 1470 that was bricked after a software update. Install starts to run and gets hung up on the backup of the registry so i commented it out of the unlock.mscr. Now it is getting hung up on Configuring Start up Settings...
Could anyone help me to get this installed??

Guys,
I got another old navigation system (myGuide 4400) and MioPocket is running out of the box. It's a lot of fun and I'm trying to start MioPocket automatically when the device is booting. I'm currently stuck at MioPocket's startup screen and I'ld like to bring it automatically to "Run MioPocket". Do I have a chance, like adding a /run parameter at the end of the command line?
Thanks in advanced siy |

That's MioPocket's default installation option - unless you enabled the 'Startup Menu'. Therefore disable showing you each time 'Startup Menu'. |

Honestly I found it out by myself. I wanted to have MioPocket to run automatically and through my system is not hive based it has to reinstall every single time. Though, I got it work through the installers automation startup (default menu entry plus 3s wait before boot). Works like a charm. Now my system needs approximately more than a minute to boot, but every second is worth the eyecandy ;) |

Thanks for the advice. The tricky part is that the \Windows directory is written into the flash memory of the Insignia NS-NAV01, so I'm not sure if it is even possible to update the .NET CF that is in that directory?

@729257,
1. Your issue is absolutely OFF-TOPIC >> Create a new thread in the 'All-In-One' section 2. Reset your Insignia to factory defaults a) From the Settings menu touch 'Restore Settings'. A confirmation screen opens. b) Touch YES to restore the factory settings. 3. If restore is done, look into device's registry under HKLM\Software\Microsoft\.NETCompactFramework\Installer which .NET CF version really does come with your Insignia by default; never heard that 3 .NET CF versions - as you reported to be present - are pre-installed in ROM. This mixture must be self-made! |
