| Hi ablbd,can you please help me out with a rom for a mio moov v505tv,it gets stuck into the orange boot,twice 1after the other, after i turn it on;the second time after it reboots itself it remains still with the orange mio moore display.thanx |

| I have an S505 rom but is uncertain if is simple s505 or s505tv... Actually with this device not the rom itself would be the problem but to enter bootloader menu. After crash is pretty impossible to access blue screen due to some hardware issues: sirf atlas cpu and rom on iNand. None of the known debrick methods will work on this; pin9 trick makes no sense because it's iNand, jtag again not because there is no iNand support. |

Hello,
anybody with Mio Moov M610 firmware file for flashing this device without SD CARD, only internal memory ? Or anybody with backup of APP_STARTUPSEC.exe and smart_ce.exe and other files from nand flash memory ? I have acess to nand flash, and i just need backup of mio moov m610 important files for runing again, cause they were accidently deleted ?

hello guys
I have a Moov 300 is stuck at orange animation and can not be connected to PC
Is there any way to fix it at home?I do not have no more warranty
Do not know what causes the problem ... just happened ... the only fault I would have known very little battery that keeps
Additional details ... when i connect it to PC battery is charging ... have not unlock the device and has a 1 gb card ... I have the original CD ...I use Windows 7 and i also have XP virtualmachine

when i make short on pin 9 ... nothing happens actually i got a black screen
I'm sure i did it right ... I connected the USB cable, I plugged the card with the correct winceimg , I gave the reset button, I counted the 9 th pin from left to right and I did lunch with metal frame and then I given on but nothing .... I tried to wait several seconds but nothing
so my problem is that i cant enter bluescreen (upgradescreen) |

NAVI-GPS czy moglbys mi podac namiary do siebie bo potrzebuje zaprogramowac kosc flash z moov m300 tzn wgrac wsad z dobrej kosci do kosci z uszkodzonym softem.

Hi all!!
Please help as I took my friend's mio s505 moov to update his maps, I messed with paths.xml and now it doesn't even connect with pc thorugh usb so as to revert back my changes!! The thing is inside the internal flash I've kept a copy of the .xml file!!
I've managed to get to the blue screen by ground+pin9 trick,I've tried to update without format, or even with format (inside the external sd I've used I've got the 4 files img bin wince #954;#945;#953; region, exactly copied not in a folder just to the sd from the firmware .rar file) but it gives me the following error
Waiting!!Bootsec is in Sector 131!!
Mount Disk success!!
Open Region image...
Region image Writing...
Read file success!
and just after this it stops by writing on a red box with white letters
VFL_Open fail!!
Write region fail!
Write region Fail! Please retry!
Any key to continue
I just need to access the internal flash so as to rename the old xml file to the original name and delete the wrong one I've created before!!
Please anybody help!!

I managed to format it....status now is after mio orange screen when boot, it gets to the screen asking for usb connection with the pc...I attach the usb cable, it pauses for 1-2 secs and then again not connecting continues to show the same screen with the pda and the pc with the connection flashing and not staying steady!
Tried both firmwares, same result!! |

Hi all!!
I have Mio moov S501, start line (on black screen) is:SEEKER.R16.00.0856.STF 128M ,
and the same problems (Frozen orange screen and not working USB port)
can we found the firmware of mio moov S501 or like moov 500(I do not know the difference)?

Hello
It sounds like you have done everything correct and you should be getting the blue upgrade screen.
Just to check the procedure.
1. Make sure your battery is fully charged on the unit (USB does not need to be connected if you have an SD slot)
2. Put SD card into slot (even a blank SD will activate the screen)
3. Connect pin 9 and earth (case of unit).
4. Switch on unit to activate blue screen.
5. Complete upgrade through menu using image from an SD card.
I have noticed some SD cards don't work in a mio so if the above doesn't work try a different card.

Devices running WinCE 5.0 by default only can handle SD-cards (<= 2GB), whereas units running WinCE 6.0 can handle SDHC-cards (>= 2GB, maximal what OEM says) |
