Maps of GpsPasSion Member Locations - v2
Here is a new version of the topic : Maps of GpsPasSion Member Locations!
For privacy purposes, we suggest using the position of the closest church, but you can choose anything else, like your local Starbucks or pub. For the format, please use WGS84. It is useful to supply the name of your city in order to check your location.
For instance, here is my location in Le Plessis-Robinson 6 miles from Paris:
- 2.26266, 48.78255 using decimal degrees
- N 48°46.953' E 2°15.760' using degrees and minutes
- N 48°56'57" E 2°15'45" using degrees, minutes and seconds

Wow, jlb, a lot of work must have gone into this! It is excellent.
Here I'm including (hopefully in the correct format) a location of my favorite local Tim Horton’s coffee shop ;-)
Latitude: 43.77130°N
Longitude: 79.32070°W
By the way, I just noticed that if ForestRanger, our member from New Zealand wanted
to place himself on the map... it just would not work ;-)
NZ is missing from the current version ;-)

Unfortunately your longitude is false. Your location is 28 km W from Tel Aviv.
