They still use the MTK chipset. I was wondering if static navigation was turned off and if they were okay at walking speeds?

I am trying to obtain a firmware update for the Holux M-1200 Bluetooth GPS Receiver that resolves the Low Speed Bug.

I understand the firmware required is version B-core_1.20 000C or higher.

Disapointingly, contacting Holux only resulted in thier refusal to support the device.

Several members who have posted on this thread in the past had the firmware, and one even uploaded the file as per: http://www.gpspassion.com/forumsen/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=96916&whichpage=2

However, the file is no longer available for download anywhere I can find. I tried to contact these members directly but the forum email function just shows an error message stating it has been disabled.

I wonder if someone would be willing to upload the file somewhere, or extract the firmware from thier own unit, and then upload it along with the untility required. I have the necessary special USB cable.

Thank you for any help you can offer.
