No, the DVD contains only Miomap stuff.
As soon as a I get your list of \windows directory, I can compare it with mine and send you the missing (if there is one).

Thanks for helping me unlock my c520. I have US maps preinstalled. Without too much investigation I also purchased Western Eu maps on a SD Card from a UK website. But unable to setup Western EU maps . Any help is very much appreciated. |

I have purchased a SD Card with EU maps. But I do not find a MioMap.exe file . I am unable to run SETUP from the card either. |

| I might as well contribute if I can: I tried installing Beta6_V2 on my MMC card, it didn't work. I switched to an SD card and it works fine. If anyone got a problem unlocking their C520 with MMC, this could be the problem (Although I have no idea how to fix it other than switching to an SD card). |

Hello everybody,
I am a newbie and have a c520 for a few days now. Problem is I have unlocked it with moon bears 6v2 but I cannot connect to usb or activesync it either!!! I get to mainshell and everything is running except miomap! When i try to run miomap it sterts running and then gets me back to mainshell. I have a card reader- writer so i can write to sd.Can anybody hepl me please? |

I have a Mio C320 and I want to unlock it. After I copied the content of "MioAutoRun-Beta6.zip" on root of SD card and inserted in PNA, after a hard reset nothing happens. On the screen is the same menu as before. I know that this procedure is for C520, C720 but I thought that C320 is build on the same platform!
Is there a method to unlock a C320 just by copying some files on SD card and inserted on PNA?

Try hard reset a couple more times. On my 520 last night, it took about three hard resets before it "saw" the SD files and unlocked. Hope that helps, if not, double check that the files are on the SD card and the directories, etc are correct.

| I'm not sure how I did it but I now have windows unlocked & running on my c520 without a SD card. I used Activesync to explore my c520. I drug the files from the SD card to the windows directory on the 520. Removed the SD card & did a restart & it unlocked. I then did another restart and it was locked. I then drug everthing from the SD card into the my favorites directory on the c520. I restarted from the SD card then went to start - favorites and clicked on mioautorun.exe. It restarted & unlocked & since then I have not needed the SD card even after a restart. Somehow I have entrenched the unlock proceedure into my operating system. |

| What happens after a "hard reset" (holding down the power button for 5-10 seconds until the Shutdown icon appears, shutdown, then restart by holding the power button again)? Once unlocked, you may just be going into "suspend" mode which means you will stay unlocked. |

I was able to unlock my C520 by putting moonbears files onto my IGO sd card that I purchased overseas for use with a mio pda . The igo program has a setup file that I needed to install the first time before use on the PDA. When I tried to run that Setup file in the explorer I got an error message "cannot find Setup or one of its componenents . Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all the required libraries are available "
The same Sd card will install properly on My pda so its probably just the way the files or folders are called . Anybody with an idea ?

Hello to everyone.
I've been looking for an answer to a question but I did not find something similar to my inquire on the forum. I'm about to buy a SD Card with the maps for Western Europe but there is a disclaimer that if my Mio C520 is the USA version that the maps will not work on my device, is that true?.
What I want is to buy the card so that I can have the USA maps and the Western Europe maps on my new Mio C520. Does anyone have any suggestions/ideas or clarification to the disclaimer?.
