| That just leaves the 350 without a Daylight Savings Time update. |

The link http://www.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=1921 worked for me. On the other hand so did yours gpsnav. They both show the 3.50 update.
Actually it looks like a lot of the Nuvi models have 2 webpages for their firmware updates. The 350 has pages that end in id=1169 and id=1170. Again, exactly the same. |

If you transferred a map to the Nüvi and rename it from gmapsupp.img to gmapoem.img, the map is listed under map list, but as greyed out and it’s not possible to deselect it. I think this changed with 3.50

No apparent change in lag.
The autozoom function seems to have been altered slightly, with differnt behaviour when routing.

Can you elaborate on the autozoom differences? Is this a plus or a minus?

Also -- what does that mean "can read new SMS".... And why is it a good thing to remove the severe weather alerts? What makes that an "upgrade"?

| I didnt even know it had severe weather alerts. I never saw one, nor did I see anything about it in the manual. This is somehing I really wish it had. |

note full sentence "Can read new SMS before sync complete" - which I take to mean that if an SMS arrives before the phone has finished syncing with the nuvi - it is able to read it.
The autozoom function is only slightly different - it seems to focus out one more notch around my local area, so I lose a few street names. Not much different. Maybe a slight negative for me - but really not a major consideration.
Haven't noted the different subcategories in the "Find" menu yet |

They must have a small room full of those requests by now. |
