| Hi Robert, I don't think that's possible. But don't take my word for it - I don't own a Garmin. But what I think is doable, with a third party tool, is exporting pushpins (waypoints) from Streets & Trips, and then using those for example in a Garmin unit. |

http://www.gpsbabel.org can take your S&T file and either send it straight to your Garmin receover or to pretty much any of the formats that Mapsource can grok including mps, gdb, and GPX.

Robert, I appreciate the help and will try to follow the documentation. I'll let everyone know if it works. What I have are some S&T map files that have, I guess they're called 'route stops', and I want to convert them to a Garmin MapSource map/file. Sounds simple but? Regardless, I appreciate the info. Looked over it briefly and didn't see a .exe file so I'm not quite sure what to do. It seems like someone would have created a program that would simply allow you to 'click' a browse button find and highlight a S&T or MapSource, etc. file and then from a drop down menu convert it to whatever format you wanted. Evidently this is harder than it seems. |
Thanks, Robert |
