EDIT BY GPSPASSION

Download TCPMP Video/MP3 player - link
Backup site - link

Download samples (Matric trailers) - here

Installation by sarava18 : downloaded tcpmp.arm.cabs.0.71.zip, extracted tcpmp.arm_ce3.cab out of it, upload to a directory called \My Flash Disk\Tcpmp that I created, double clicked it and that was it!

Converting movies for WinCE devices : it's best to resize your divx movies to 320x240, the native resolution of the 310x, it can be done easily and quickly with PocketDivx Encoder.

Is it possible to add the video player cab file only without changing skins? Is the unlock c510 file compatible with the c310x? Thank you in advance.

Could anybody recommend a good imageviewer for c310x? I tried many but none one of really worked. Thanks.

Sure it is with properly resized videos (320*240) on TCPMP ;-)

If they're not 320*240 I would yes. Very easy and pretty fast to do with PocketDivx Encoder.

Resco Photo Viewer will do. Some pop up menu won't display (blank), but you can see pictures and have other functions.

Can you just use the mio transfer hack to install TCPMP? If so which folder do you transfer the .cab file to? Thank you in advance for any help.

How do I install tcpmp? I downloaded "tcpmp.setup.0.71.exe" file and transfer it to my MIO and run the program, but I got an error msg saying it is not a valid Windows CE app. Is this the right file? Any help is appreciated.

I uploaded a copy of TCPMP .81RC1. I believe this is the last build offered free by them. It runs fine on my c310x and it also includes the AAC plugin. This will run along side older versions of TCPMP if you want it to. However, I would suggest uninstalling any older versions before installing this one.

Is it possible to just have a "icon" on one of the screens for the Video instead of making the GPS look like a Windows platform?
I am refering to C310x model. In 710 there are 5 icons on the main screen and i'm sure one of them can be repointed to Video, instead of contacts for example.

I would like to test out the mainshell.exe from a 510 or 710 on my 310x for that precise reason. I started thread asking for someone to upload these, but that post is now gone. I suspect one of the mods deleted it. However, if the shell did work on the 310x, you would just have to rename the video player to calculator.exe (for example) and clicking the calculator would run it.
