Waterfalls - S. Ontario, Canada

New collection

Manager: BobM
Last Update: 11/29/2006
Number of POIs: 58
Coverage: Canada
Available Format(s): csv (Garmin,...)
Download Link: BobM_Waterfalls_Ontario.zip

I've compiled a listing of waterfalls in Ontario - mainly those along the Niagara Escarpment - and added a few others in S. Ontario.

The locations have either been recorded personally by me or taken from topo maps so they should be quite accurate. However I haven't yet visited all of them so any corrections would be appreciated.

It's in file BobM_Waterfalls_Ontario.zip.

Can Admin update the link, please?

Bob

Thanks. I've added Niagara Falls using your coordinates - and uploaded the modified file, keeping the name the same. There are 58 POI's in the file.

Do you have a *.gpx file as well for this?
I would like to see the points on the map in my Mapsource.

Yes, I do, but there's only a .csv file in the Zip. All you need to do is download GPXtoPOI and use it to convert the csv file (or vice verse). This conversion utility is mentioned in the post "How to add, correct and create" - http://www.gpspassion.com/forumsen/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=56475

or go direct: http://www.masterclass.com/gpxtopoi/gpxtopoidownload.html

I'll include the GPX file next time I update the zip file.

Thanks
Bob
