@dsryan Thks for your file. You’re right; there is a distortion of the map impacting the display and the distance calculation (not visible in France but in Australia). This problem will be solved in next version.
Sorry, Noni

G'day Noni, Thanks for the feedback. Does the code have something specific in it for Europe and not Australia? I guess something to do with North/South, East/West.
Anyway, looking forward to the next version.
As a wish list, I would love a "GOTO" function similar to normal GPS units whereby you enter a coordinate or waypoint and it will tell you the direction, distance etc of that point from your current point. I'll keep wishing.
Many thanks, Dave. |

Excellent Software!
2 things:
The english version shows "Click Downstairs" This should read "Click at bottom"
Also, this is more of an FYI. It works perfectly on the Mio C310x!! |

For a C310x, set up the GPS to be COM2, 4800 |

Hi Again :) Guess you've got the track file from dsryan and don't need one from me :)
There is another bug I forgot to mention.
When you set the program to synchronize device time to GPS time, it will neglect to change the date if the timezone requires it to roll over.
i.e. GPS time is GMT 2300 1 Dec 2006. Sydney is +11 GMT, so should be 1000 2 Dec 2006 but NoniGPS will set the time to 1000 1 Dec 2006.
Bug might also be apparently in france if you happen to be using the GPS at that time too?
PS : Have you ever thought of integrating some of the features of NoniGPS onto VirtualEarthMobile or vice versa? ( http://viavirtualearth.com/vve/Gallery/VEMobile.ashx ) |

Its the way he's converting GPS lat/longs onto the grid (XY/UTM) shown on NoniGPS. 1 deg long for example is very different from the equator to say near the poles. |

| Now I have tested nonigps first time on a trip of more than 100km. from km 40 or so it started to be very slowly working. It was almost impossible to mark new waypoints. What can be the reason? (ipaq 6515/2003SE) |

Hi Noni,
Interesting program! I noticed a small typo in the main menu: Eracse -> Erase
Do you have plans for adding the possibility to load bitmap maps?

@ dsryan: For the GOTO function, you can add a Point (just filling the coordinates) and in the list of points, select it and click on Nav button.
@Madox: I will have a look for time from GPS function...
@charo: No, I will try to reproduce on my side.
@Guust1: Not yet, even I’m thinking about it.
Noni.

#### Please ignore. I figured out the problem. I had the lat/log coordinates in the wrong columns as expected. ####
Having problems getting the Lat/Lon to load into NoniGPSPlot (using a CSV file generated by GSAK - Geocaching Swiss ARm Knife).
Here is what I have done.
1. I installed NoniGPSPlot on my Mio 310x, 2. I nstalled GSAK - Geocaching Swiss Army Knife on my PC. 3. I loaded the LOC file into GSAK, then I created exported a CSV file that included the lat/log. 4. I used NoniGPSPLot and imported the CSV file.
Everything worked fine except for the lat/log coordinates. I see the name of the group and the name of each waypoint. Does the Lat/Log have to be in a specific column order. They are currently being created in the last two columns.

hi jpless, as I use the same ipaq I can tell you: it is com port 7. by the way, I have found a program, which emulates a screen of 240x320 on our square screens. Also you can switch to landscape view then. It is called: NVD502USETUP_001.exe (this is the download file of course). It works not always smoothly, but it is helpful for me on the ipaq 6515. |

| @charo: thanks for the info, that worked. I know of Nyditot Virtual Display, but IMO it uses too many resources. Anyway now it works, great peice of software, excactly what I've been looking for! |
