Thanks very much to Noni, I am fully working now!
I have one remaining problem for which I seek help. I have some .map files which I would like to add to the system but it wont upload them. They are around 30 - 40 mb in size and consist JUST of the .map file. They are not split into a .jpg and a .map file like the google maps are after downloading. I therefore do not have a valid graphics file (.jpg or .bmp). Could somebdy please advise me how to work with this .map file and use it on Noni? I would be very appreciative of a helpful response.

Hello all,
I'm having trouble entering my registration code - when starting the program it doesn't wait on the entry screen so that I can enter my donor number. I have version 2.72d.
Hope someone can help.
Great program noni, keep up the good work.

Has anyone been running Noni GPSPlot on a Samsung i780? I believe I was not able to get the GPS settings right :( All I get is the question marks: ?-?
Once I ran Garmin at the same time just to see if it can still find the gps, and then Noni showed coordinates but they stayed the same. I walked around a bit but Noni did not draw a path and the coordinates never changed.
After that one incident I have only got ?-?.
If you have used GPSPlot successfully on a Samsung, could you please share your gps settings here please. Thanks!

I've been using NoniGPSPlot for quite a while to contribute to www.openstreetmap.org - it's such a great tool for recording tracks! I was wondering if it would be possible to build in viewing of map tiles from www.openstreetmap.org - they are free to use under CC-by-SA licence.
For the English translation, I think "Suppress" is a strange word to use, it implies that data can be retrieved. Isn't this a permanent delete? Delete would be a better word I think. Many thanks for the English version though :)
Also, does NoniGPSPlot work under windows Mobile 6? I'm thinking of getting an HTC TyTN II and want to know if NoniGPSPlot will work on it?
Many thanks,
Dave
PS hoping to make donation soon - this is such a good piece of software for recording GPS tracks for Openstreemap :D |

Hello, The V2.73b has been published with:
* New navigation menus * New system of calculating the approach speed to a point * Dashboard specific to navigation * Possibility to choose the thickness of the trace * 2nd dashboard * New statistics * Possibilities to darken or reverse cards in night mode * Choice auto zoom limit level * Export in CSV * New keys * Export of the party selected of the track * Trace of altitude more visible * Some other things...
Rgds, Anthony.
@Balthazar For the device with WM6.0, I have updated the tuto : http://aeguerre.free.fr/Public/PocketPC/NoniGPSPlot/EN/tutos.php?tuto=_tuto_13.php#TUTO
Do this help?
@aaron1 NoniGPSPlot can import route from GPX, KML, CSV ou ASC but the route is not a track but a set points. You can send the file to me if you want me to have a look.
@Daveemtb I’ve already use OMS maps in NoniGPSPlot but I dont remerber with what tool. I plane to create a tutorial.
> does NoniGPSPlot work under windows Mobile 6 As far as I know, yes
Rgds, Noni

I am trying to get it to work on a Motorola Q 9C from Sprint, but I cannot find a COM port that provides the GPS signal.
I also tried running the CEMonitor utility described on http://aeguerre.free.fr/Public/PocketPC/NoniGPSPlot/EN/tutos.php?tuto=_tuto_13.php#TUTO but that freezes on my phone. Also the Settings menu in the Q 9c does not give access to the GPS settings as shown in the instructions.
The home screen shows that the GPS is active so that I assume starting the GPS is not the problem.
Does anybody know how to fix this? I would appreciate any help.
Thanks Albrecht |

Noni,
I've downloaded the new v 2.73b (great, thanks) and mapsplit v 0.6 but have been having a problem - I think the problem is with mapsplit 0.6.
The problem is that the map tiles are at a slight angle in NoniGPSplot and also the tiles don't join correctly. (I used parameter -c 1 for google map correction). The tiles are ok when viewed in a JPEG viewer.
I reverted to v 0.4 and re-split my maps and all seems ok again.

@chrisgw3 and noni
I am having the same problem that you. Could you please send me, or tell me from where to download; the mapsplit 0.4. Thank you in advance. Yesterday I became a donor, and I wish to encourage noni to go on with this nice software. Regards |
