Sorry guys, couldn't resist the Topic Line
Really though, It would be a cool thing to see just where eveyone is located. Perhaps a small get together could happen. Or, just hang, exchange & test with a new friend.

This idea already exists on the forum, albeit for members of "the club". See http://www.gpspassion.com/forumsen/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1699. Personally, I like the idea of reporting the coordinates of the church nearest your residence.

Actually, the idea I was leaning more towards was for those who just own the Roadmate units. Say if one friend had the 500 and the other 700, could try or test things together.
Someone mentioned in a post here, wondering if a card authorized on one unit would work on another.
Having a buddy next door within the city boundries could get together to test that out. |

Burlingame, California (near SFO). Anyone know how to get longitude and latitude coordinates other than pulling it from the gps status screens?

Lat/Long is reported at the bottom of the screen when you hit the "Locate" button.
