It's even more fun when you set up a POI alert. My TT700 is set to Moo whenever I'm 2000 yards from a Starbucks

Thanks acdana for a new Starbucks. A new file has been uploaded with this new location in it.
Note these changes to the Starbucks file:
1. The store name now lists the State & City (ex: Starbucks - CT - Waterford).
The file is sorted this way so you may delete any states you don't want/need.
2. The zip file now includes a csv file that does not have linefeeds in it. Since there are now 2 csv files included in the zip file, you will want to delete one of them before importing into your GPS; otherwise, you will have duplicate locations.

| malap: Sounds like a good idea. I used to have tons more listings but many were dupes (15 in 1 airport, 4 in a mall, etc.) Someone went through mine and mentioned which were duplicates, and I cleaned it up. Since you have the extra info, that would be nice to get it all into 1 file. I'll download your file and try to do some comparison. It might take awhile. |

malap: In your file, I do notice the same "problem" I had with my original starbucks file. - many starbucks at same location (malls, stadiums, airports). It would be best to leave 1 stating "multiple locations in airport" or something like that in the description field. Here's my plan of action:
1. Clean up duplicate entries in your file (approximately 178 would be deleted).
2. Attempt to find stores I have in my file that you don't (like the few I recently added) and put them in your file.
3. Add state/city to the "store name" field so that each point would be unique (magellan units appear to have problems with points named the same).
We will then use that file as the base file for Starbucks and any corrections/additions/deletions will be done to that file.
If this sounds good to you then I'll progress with the clean-up and combining of our files. This would leave over 8900 records in your file (compared to 7700 I have in mine). |

Using malap's newest file from Starbucks.com website, I came up with 8879 total pois.
Please remember there are 2 csv files in the zipped file:
1 with linefeeds and 1 without linefeeds. In order for the icon to work, the csv file you use must be named Starbucks.csv.
