Hello JAL,
Your portsplitter is a very good soft ;-)
The only problem is :
With Tomtom Navigator everything is ok, but you must use mortscript to kill or stop portsplitter to save batterie (indee you could do this manually by closing portsplitter).
Can you make portsplitter to run as a "service" like this one :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=571266
With this one everything is automated the driver is actived only when required.
btw IMO portsplitter is much better because it uses less CPU load than gpsmoddriver
Thanks in advance.
Best Regards JAL.

GpsModDriver isn't a port-splitter, it's a filter! But it's output-port (default: COM3) is a software-port, thus this port can be read by several navigation apps simultanously ( If that's really needed ).

Hi Jal,
I meant that you need to stop manually portsplitter (or to use mort script) and it's kind of a pain ... isn't it possible to launch it as a service (so that it stopped when not used).

Hello Jal,
I have a problem using your "port splitter" application. When I click on start, after adding a virtual COM port and selecting the GPS device I get the following error:
"unable to setmask on input port"
I have an Axxion GPS-374 PNA. What can I do to solve this? |
