Wawa food markets

 New collection
Manager : gillmj Last Update : 07/04/2006 Number of POIs : 547 Coverage : USA Available Format(s) :csv (Garmin,...),ov2 Download Link : gillmj_Wawa.zip
Now this is probably just for fun, since in the Philly area there is one of these every 3 blocks (cant miss 'em!) but I will attempt to start this new POI database. |

| Bring on the wawa POI. I was gonna try the same thing. But since Wawa's are everwhere and I've never created a poi I figured I'd let someone else handle it. |

| I have all states except PA done. Of course that will take the most time. I would have finished already but I was away this weekend. I said maybe it is slightly unneccessary since there seems to be one every 3 blocks, but after I found this forum and instructions on making custom POIs, I thought it would be cool to be driving along the highway and see a "W" on the moving 3D map on my tomtom navigator. |

DONE!@!!!
Finally. THAT was a lotta work!
Now to upload.....
It will be in TomTom Navigator5 format (.ov2) with a bitmap to display on the map. Also the zip file will have a Garmin CSV used with PoiEdit so if you use that program to open the CSV file, tell it thats its a garmin comma separated variable file. |

| Some work and some don't??!! I guess the ov2 file can only be so long in the description? Or is it a POIEdit issue and not a tomtom issue? |

| Ok for the call feature to work in tomtom the total length including the last quote marks is 85 characters per line. I will fix it and re-upload |

Fixed!
If you don't want the phone numbers, you can edit the csv file but I have confirmed it all works great on my Tomtom nav5 and Treo 650. It just had to be within 85 characters per line.
Use the above link |

If there is interest, I will separate the Gas stations from the non-gas stations. Right now the gas stations are labeled as such but I imagine some gps users won't be able to search for gas stations separately. I think tomtom users can select find POI, choose the wawa category then type G-a-s and then the gas stations should show up.
All 500+ locations!!!! |
