Hi there, I am very new to this board and really enjoying all of the info on here. I do have a question however. I tried to load the starbucks database into my unit (2720) with the POI loader and I keep getting an error that there is an error on a line in the sheet. I went and looked at the line and removed it then another error for another line and removed it. I keep getting this error when trying to load the database. Does anyone have any ideas?
I am experiencing the same thing. I am still in the process of loading, getting an error, going to the record mentioned, changing it, loading the file to my nuvi, etc. etc. It is mostly because some records don't have a street name and number and it seems like the information has to be there so I add something like '000 Noname Street'. There might be a much better and faster way though....
I haven't played with the POI much yet. At what distance from a POI (Starbucks in this case) will I get an alert ? Is this something that can be changed by the user ?
