Do most people leave the power adapter plugged in to their car while it is off? Would this drain the battery or cause damage to the mount or car?

Thanks

My G4500 stays plugged in pretty much all the time on a DC socket that stays on when the ignition is cut, so far so good ! I drive maybe 3 hours a week on average.

I have 5 or 6 of these adapters plugged in 24/7 and have never had a problem with my car battery.
