Yes, I am very satisfied with the new upgrade! The touchscreen sensitivity is a lot better as well as the US English female voice quality. Also, the display of street names on the map is way better.

Hello there,
I just got a RoadMate 800 AAA Edition. Product Information displays firmware version=0.04; hardware version=6; os version=1.05. I downloaded the latest firmware update from magellangps.com (version 2.12) but it fails to install with the message "This update is not valid for your unit!" I have tried reseting the device but still the update is not installed.
Am I missing something here, perhaps an "intermediate" firmaware update (i.e. version 1.x)? Is there an AAA specific firmware update? If so, where can I download it? Nothing seems to appear in the AAA Mid Atlantic pages.
Any help please?
