I am looking for a complete PDA with VGA screen and a CF receiver, Bluetooth, WiFi and would love also GSM but its only HP 6515 that offers that and that screen is just too msall (want an all in one solution that is not to big but still very accurate and featurepacked).
- PDA I think the DELL X51V is great since it does not have the mousepad that the HP has (seems a tad small to manouvre) and the DELL is currently at a bargain price here in Sweden (top model for below 400 Euro). It also sports Pocket Mobile 5 and a HUGE ROM (256 Mb) and RAM (128Mb). The good thing about HP is that all "extras hardware" allways comes first to theess and they seem to be the first choice for most people that want a compatible platform for future updates.
- CF card I was thinking about the Rikkaline GPS-6023http://www.rikaline.com.tw/cf_gps.htm that seems like a small unit when folded and also supports SIRF 3 (that I have understood is a good thing).
- Map pack No idea? Is there any map pack that supprts 640*480 (VGA) screens fully = better detail on the maps or they simply upscaled? Anyone knows a good navigation program for Western Europe (Scandinavia included of course since i live there) that supports traffic rerouting (traffic updates), 3d view, PIOs? (traffic camera locations) and all the other great stuff that I have read about :D
I would low your passionate GPS ideas and thoughts about this setup. Ok i Wont get GSM but i think i can survive that. Why dont the just do a HP6515 with VGA screen and get rid of the big ugly keyboard? Would go into my collection at once :D
The question is if this could work and is there any decent map pack that works with this solution
Could this work? - Dell X51V - Rikkaline GPS-6023 - MAP SOFTWARE?
Is there no PDA-GPS guru that has a good answer on the question. Would really appreciate the help since its getting close to christmas and its time ti buy before the new year :)
