| So are there any current fixes to change the font size with WM5 and iguidance 2.1.3.2 ? I created and uploaded a theme.ini and changed STS=20 around but no difference. |

I asked the question recently and the reply was a surprised question to the effect: "Really it doesn't work?". Apparently the programmers were supposed to enable theme.ini in the newest WM5 version of iGuidance (but maybe they forgot to save the file before uploading it?) Well, the support for theme.ini is not going away, which is good. But the bad news is that the programmers are very busy now with other projects (a patch for the European version is I believe one of them). So we may need to wait a bit longer for the WM5 version of iGuidance and THEME.INI to work together.

Hi First Post here :) All these Tweaks are great .. I almost got I Guidance where I want it .. Just one question .... How do I change the colors on the turn arrows on the map .. As the arrow is green during the day and light blue during the night . Those Colors totaly go against my background colors as my day time the grass is green and at night the grass is Blue ... I compleatly looked throu this forum and explored my .exe .. I just can't figure out how to change this ..

Briz, you are right. I never looked for it before, but also I was under the impression we should be able to find the arrows when looking at iguidance.exe in Resource Hacker. But the arrows don't seem to be there at all, I've just looked at all bitmaps and icons :-( That's a bit disappointing for me, too, because for some time now I've been planning to take the time to change my route colors to something resembling MS Streets & Trips during the day, and then getting rid of the arrows completely. Just to explain: MS Streets & Trips uses completely different colors for the current road segment and the rest of the route. This big contrast between the current road segment and the next road segment would totally eliminate the need for the arrows which sometimes appear at the point of turn. Hmm, now it seems like we are stuck with the arrows :-(

I, too like to see more streets when I am driving just so that I know what's coming up and how many blocks left before the turn.
The new zoom icons look great too... how do I incorporate that into the program?

Quick question... I am using the exact same theme.ini file on both my PPC and PC but I get get 9 levels of zoom while the PC version get all 11.
Any insight?

Yes, it's the same on my PDA. The high-altitude zoom levels (in my case 40km and 80km) are not enabled. I suspect it's because an average PDA has less processing power than an average laptop, and the performance at the last two zoom levels on a PDA would be slow.

| Has anyone tried switching the voice on the software? or have any package voices like TomTom does? I would love to have one with a German accent like in one of the James Bond movies (i think it was Tomorrow Never Dies.) or another female voice.... |

I copied all the British voice files from iGuidance Europe to iGuidance North America. It worked well, and it was nice and interesting for a few days. Then I switched back to the good old young familiar girl ;-)
