| any of you guys know of a way to change the white screen flash when iguidance changes maps? Its really annoying at night, when you get this bright white flash... maybe change it to black instead.. |

| I think the flash is intentional. It's a way of getting your attention, so you know it's entering guidance mode, and that your action will soon be required. I really like that feature! |

I really wish we knew hot to use these:
NMRBPC - nite map road border pen color DMRBPC - day map road border pen color
Does anyone know someone at iNav that could contact them and ask? This would allow us to improve the look and readability of maps tremendously. It would allow us to make it look somewhat like S&T or googlemaps... |

I just discovered how to use this one:
BNCA - bkg of non-client area.
It modifies the background color of some of the dialog windows (Day, Night). One place where this occurs is the 'POI list at current location' window. Zoom out on the map, and click just under the name of a major city... the dialog that pops up has a background color that can be affected byt this variable.
Example of usage:
BNCA 255,255,255 150,150,150 |

My wife is now a proud owner of a new i-mate JASJAR. It came with WM5 operating system so I was very eager to test what Rick indicated a few days ago: THEME.INI is indeed not working at this moment with the new WM5 version of iGuidance. As soon as I hear from iNav regarding this I will let everyone know.

All, great work on figuring all of this out, I have tried almost everything here and will continue to use most. The one thing I wonder if anyone has figured out yet, is how to increase the text size of the current street and upcoming street names (the ones in the centre of the screen at the top and bottom)?

Hi Spawn, welcome to the forums! Hmm, I'm not sure if something could be done to increase the font size of Current Street and Upcoming Turn. I never really thought it was needed, but now that you have mentioned it I agree that it could be useful under different screen resolution settings. There is nothing in THEME.INI file that would let us control it. I’m not sure how we could go about trying to do this.

Hi there,
Can someone help? I'm trying to do a ctheme.ini file for my iGuidance 2.1 and I can't seem to get the background colors to work right.
I'm trying to manipulate the White setting, MBC2, to look like Streets and Trips 2006 in day and night modes.
Here is my code:
; map background color (day night) MBC0=255,220,128 0,0,96 MBC1=192,192,192 64,64,64 MBC2=225,225,204 0,102,0 MBC3=255,128,255 128,0,128

Can someone let me know why iGuidance isn't picking up my new color settings?

| Has anyone figured out a way to import different POI's into iGuidance 2? I would love to add movie theaters or POI databases from other GPS maps...there are a lot of gas stations that aren't in iGuidance.... |

Aaron iGuidance 2.1.1 was the first version to include 4 pre-set color schemes, so I would not expect earlier versions to be compatible with the new MBC0, MBC1, MBC2, and MBC3 settings in the INI file. Users tried the MBC0 in earlier versions with no success.
Tod custom POI's would be an excellent future feature!

| The white screen I'm talking about is the "Recalculating" screen".. everytime the map adjusts, it does a white flash with red recalculating text... Anyone know how to change this to all black? |

| Thanks Marvin, but is there a way to insert those new POIs into the software now? since I upgraded to version 2.1.1, I tried to change the map font size, which it seemed to do in the 2D version of the maps, but not the 3D one. is there another thing I have to do? |
