Hello, sorry this is in English. I live at 55.161307 N latitude, 1.588383 W longitude. When I make an xml file with these coordinates, (55.16307, -1.588383) my home does not appear on the radar screen. When I change the longitude to + (1.588383) then my home appears correctly. However, when I add points East and West of Home they appear REVERSED on the radar screen! I have tried this out driving and with a simulation (via GPS Gate) but no luck.
Here is my xml file -
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <gpx xmlns="http://tempuri.org/radars.xsd"> <wpt lat="55.16130" lon="1.58838"> <name>HOME</name> </wpt> <wpt lat="55.16130" lon="1.59874"> <name>WEST</name> </wpt> <wpt lat="55.16130" lon="1.57943"> <name>EAST</name> </wpt> <wpt lat="55.16732" lon="1.58838"> <name>NORTH</name> </wpt> </gpx>
Can anyone please help? Merci
Malc |

Hi,
There is a known bug in VitesseLimite with negative longitudes. Changing the - to a + for the longitude is like using a mirror on the greenwitch meridian, so everything will be reversed.
I hope to fix this bug for the end of the week, or the beginning of the next week.

Many thanks for your swift replies! The Vitesse Limite program is wonderful and, as I am a van courier, it is something I now use whenever driving. I am looking forward to any updates/fixes to the program and will certainly send a contribution to the author to show my appreciation.
Merci beaucoup,
Malc |

Thank you for a superb product! I have downloaded UK Speed Camera data from www.pocketgps.co.uk which can be imported into Excel. I then made a blank mail-merge template for the .xml file in Word and did a 'Catalog' mail-merge of the Excel data into Word. Then I saved the results as an ASCII text file with the name radars.xml (not forgetting to add the fist 2 lines of the xml from the test file and finishing with </gpx>
Once I had imported the file to my Pocket PC everything worked beautifully. It only takes VL about 20 seconds to load the WHOLE camera database for the UK! Impressive!
Cheers, Malc.
