I found this tool for stitching maps and I think it works much better for even tiles than Panavue (www.panavue.com). Panorama Factory (www.panoramafactory.com) can stitch tiles that are evenly cut (i.e. no overlap) back to back, where as Panavue cannot. I guess if some of your maps are scanned and some are precut (like even tiles downloaded from mapping sites), you would need both of these tools, since Panavue seems to work better with overlapping images.
Can anybody give an idea of how to stitch map tiles? I have hundreds of 256x256 images without overlap, which makes it difficult to use ordinary panorama stitching software. I tried Panorama Factory but it processes images as usual photos, without any success. I will be grateful for any advices.
