| Seems to me you tried to run at desktop PC/laptop the iGO navigation software compiled for WinCE, as this is the OS your Mio C520 is based on. Note that iGO navigation software doesn't install any maps, it expects maps!!! |

| Yeah i've tried to run it on desktop. Because this is what I understand about the principle of autosync - to install software to your device from your computer. Maybe my english isn't good enough, that's why i'm asking help. And yes, i know it is just software, not a map, but Igo is software that have not left behind his customers and has eligibly updated maps for the software. :) |

Absolutely wrong! ActiveSync isn't an installer, its purpose is to update files located both at desktop PC/laptop and mobile device - in both directions, depends how ActiveSync is configured. You should become familiar with ActiveSync ... |

1. You should read MioPocket's README file, where all is explained in detail. 2. What do you mean with "install exe in miopocket"? BTW: Software for WinCE mostly comes either as .CAB-file or as Win32-Installer - which installs the always included .CAB to mobile device, using an existing ActiveSync connection. If the software comes as an archive, you have to transfer the unpacked archive to your mobile device and/or SD-card. Again: You should read MioPocket's README file, where all is explained in detail. |

| No, .cab file installes in the device by itself, no connection needed. From README file i read that for .exe extension I need autosync connection to install it from desktop. As always.. I misunderstand it as it seems. So do i need to put thouse files into device by using autosync? and then install it on the device? Or ... confusing. |

Well... from README it says i should still install it on desktop.. so i've transfered files into SD card of the mio C520. Now, should I install it from mio device alone, or in computer from SD card to the device
Here's a picture what i did: http://s21i.img-up.net/igoinstall2846.png
But as you see, it only copies it.
and I have not found a way, how can I just use the device for installing .exe |
