Hi, I have a lms 334c igps and I am in dire need of help. The unit will power up no problem without mmc/sd card but once one is installed it will just sit at the start up page and not load up.....what can I do about this?

Any help is appreciated.

Sorry but we only do (did) automotive GPS units here (when Lowrance still made them). Best bet is to call Lowrance (Navico) and wade through their tech-support queue at 1-800-628-4487

Their web site does suggest either a soft or hard reset though might help:

LMS 334C iGPS Reset

Soft Reset (Does not delete GPS Data)
1. Turn unit OFF
2. Press and hold the PAGES key
3. Press and hold the PWR key
4. Release both buttons when the USA map appears

Hard Reset (Deletes stored GPS Data such as Waypoints and trails)
1. Turn unit OFF
2. Press and hold the ZIN&ZOUT Keys at the same time
3. Press and hold the PWR key
4. Release both buttons when the USA map appears
