Just recently, I got a message upon bootup of my 1450 nuvi. It says "FM Traffic provider database missing. Go to www.garmin.com/webupdater to download it." Id hit 'OK' and after going to 'view map' my map has completely disappeared! And my typical car icon has changed to a blue arrow.
What happened? I tried to update through the updater software I installed and its giving me another problem- "not enough space" to update maps. None of the regions will fit. I have not copied anything to the internal memory.
This is extremely frustrating as this GPS was not bought that long ago.. I have searched, and found one or two similar experiences posted, but no answers.. Has anyone found a solution??
