My Magellan 5175 has built in Wifi, How to get it to work with Miopocket? The Wifi icon does nothing. Wifi does work in regular Magellan boot.

If you would have looked into MioPocket skin's file 'icons.xml' you would have read this line of code

<icon name="WiFi" image="WiFiSignalStrength\WiFiSignalNA.png" exec="--wifi" type="28" animation="0" />

and you would have noticed (or not) that the WiFi icon does nothing else but indicating the strength of WiFi signal, if any, means a WLAN driver must be active thus a signal strength unequal 0 really is shown.

to get out why WiFi signal strength is not shown.

EDIT: MioPocket does NOT come with any WiFi application, as for example "WiFi FileSender" etc, pp. If there is the need for you, you must install such an application by yourself.

Simply uninstall MioPocket. Seems to me MioPocket unconsciously disabled WiFi.
