Elevation is shown on the 760/780 when you press the Sat. Strength icon on the Main Menu screen.

That is true. But I'd be willing to bet that the repair cost will approach the cost of buying a new unit, especially seeing how cheap things have gotten.

@popej, I was just responding to the image that was shown on the page at the posted link. But now that I look at the specs, I see it says the speed limit is displayed. Funny how they don't show it in one of the screenshots.

I NEED HELP.
I am confuse with what to do now, if to keep the 760 or buy a new one. I saw a few cheaper ones like the Nuvi 50LM and 2350LT in the lower one hundreds and then there is the ones in the $200's and $300's. Since 2008 the gps are so advance now, I dont know which one to get. I would like a gps with life maps and maybe life time Traffic, Lane assist, bluetooth. All I do with my gps is travel from point A to point B. I really need the forum help here
Thanks

Well, it is probably overkill for the fairly basic needs you stated, but since you are in the US, right now you can get a nuvi 3790LMT refurb online for $160 (think largest retail store in US). The 3790 is listed as a "previous model" on Garmin's website, but it was Garmin's top of the line nuvi less than 2 years ago. That deal is hard to pass up.

Really a nice unit. I love my 3790 even if I did pay about $300 more than that current deal.
