I have a nuvi 1490T and have downloaded CN Europe 2013.1 last week. I have noticed that although the download included a jcv file of around 775mb, the one loaded on my nuvi was a smaller one. Because of this, I just deleted the jcv file I had on my nuvi and copied the one included in my donwload.
However this seems to have created some problems as although I am trying to replicate several routes which are supposed to include junction views, I cannot find even one junction view.
Another thing: can I copy the jcv file on my micro sd instead of on my nuve drive. If this is possible, what is the exact path that I have ot make?
Yes you can copy the JCV file to your SD card. Copy it to the Garmin\JCV folder. If no JCV folder is on the SD card create one and copy it there. Two things to remember, use only 1 jcv file, either on the nuvi or the SD card. Do not use a jcv file from a prior map, it won't work. The jcv files are designed to work only with the map version it was created for.
