Hi, I need some help in selecting a GPS logger for a scientific study. I'm looking for a GPS logger that will be placed on a city bus and log the route over several weeks at 1 second resolution.
Here are the requirements:

1. Powered by USB so it can be connected to the bus 24v power by a converter to USB (I have this separately) so it can run for weeks. Alternatively, it should be able to charge by USB while recording
2. have a large memory so it can save the data over weeks (has memory card?)
3. accurate in urban areas.
4. cost ~50-80 USD
5. can turn on and start logging whenever it gets power
6. one second time resolution

Am I asking for too much?

Thanks,
Ilik

Hi,
I came across the Arknav k-18U GPS Data Logger that may be suitable.

Does anyone has any experience with it?

Thanks

That direct link should work better : http://www.arknavgps.com.tw/style/frame/templates1/product_detail.asp?lang=2&customer_id=221&name_id=1229&content_set=color_2&rid=23457&id=119797

Looks pretty nice indeed, mass storage (USB key) and microSD but I don't see logging on/off with power on/off or using a sensor ? Gisteq used to have a tracker that used a sensor to stop start.
