How do you clear the offers folder under apps. I DO NOT have traffic enabled but somehow a Shell ad got into that folder. Now every time I drive by a shell station the coupon icon shows up on the screen not the full ad (that only shows up when I stop) but just the coupon icon. I will never buy shell again.
Garmin support answered...you can't. If something gets in the apps/offers folder you CAN NOT get rid of it. They did give me a procedure for clearing traffic which they say will cause the offer folder to clear sometime in the future...maybe. It also shows several menus that I did not know about.. 1)Attach traffic cable 2)Touch View Map 3)Touch speed 4)Touch and hold the middle of the MPH Speedometer. 5)Touch Developer Info 6)Touch down arrow 7)Touch GTM FM Table 8)Touch the menu button (3 horz lines) 9)Touch Reset 10)Touch Yes 11)Touch and hold back button. 12)Use at own risk (mine not theirs)
