hi everyone thanks in advance for any help, I am taking a trip to mexico and need to use this gps, is there any way to unlock the map for mexico, the map shows me the streets names and everything i just want to unlock so that i could enter and adrress and it will tell me how to get there, thanks in advance for all your help my email is ckc90745@gmail.com

Isn't there an option to buy the Mexico maps? I don't think we knowingly break the rules here. Magellan wants you to buy the maps.

unfortunally no,i email them to see if i could buy it, and they told me that it was not available for mexico, i would not ask anyone to break any rules either, anyways your answer is greatly apreciated

can't help you with the map question. I do have mexico map on my 1700 it's not to bad in mexico but becareful in mexico. I go there every year but they have gone a bit crazy the last several years. Be careful amigo!
