I have a Lawrance LCX28c HD in my boat near saltwater. The GPS has been working until about 3 months ago when it started randon disconnects. Now it hasn't work at all in a month. I have cleaned the pins in the back to no help. Is there a common fault that I can target to fix or should I just replace it?
If I replace it with a HDS-8, can I use the same transducer for depth?
I'm sorry, Bruce. I doubt anyone here knows about the marine type units from Lowrance. When we did have GPS units, they were the automotive line like the iWay and Xog.
