I recently purchased a 600c that appears to be near new. When I powered it up the first skin says: "Peterbuilt" In reviewing the menu, I find no straight-line option at all.
The specs show: 600c version 1.3.0 Build: LN11E Build: LL1211C Serial: CD1A6CADE-E8300C76B
NAVTEK Q3-07 V1.5
I was not aware that the truck version did not have the Tiger map or the water navigation option. The only visual difference between my old 600 and this one is at the bottom of the bezel, the new says "Lowrance" while the old one says "Lowrance Automotive"
Can anyone shed some light on this? Can it be made into a straight-line unit? I use mine for back roads quite a bit.
Thanks for your help. Dave Burrall |

| There's a way (I forget how) to switch from regular Lowrance iWay mode to truck mode and back again. I suggest a search of the iWay forums for key words like truck mode or diagnostics or some-such. I believe the Peterbuilt mode has different menus and, as you've seen, may not have the other modes available. They're still there, just not accessible. Switch modes and it should be OK (unless Q3-07 screwed it up I suppose). |

I found the old topic where you said to hold the speak/vol and power buttons until the menu appears.
it did appear and i was able to hit the change to Iway button and now I have an almost new 600c as a backup.
thank you for your time and effort toward keeping the big Iway units functioning long after they were abandoned.

| Great, Dave. Glad my 'memory dump' was of assistance. |
