| Is it possible to transfer the lifetime maps subscription to a new user given that the lifetime maps code is associated with your TOMTOM account? Has anyone done this? |

I do not have a TT with lifetime maps, but your question should be covered in the documentation that came with your GPS. I think that the TT Home software that I have is tied to my email address, and when I got a second TT for my wife, I had to activate it with a different email address. |

Lifetime map codes can NOT be transferred to a new owner.
If you loose your TomTom, or it is stolen, they may (at their discretion) associate an existing lifetime map code from your old device with a new device.
Travel map purchases, such as a map of Europe purchased by an American for a trip there, are linked to the device as well. |
