Seems a new update to 37X0 series is available already - less than 2 weeks since 4.6- was released.

Changes from version 4.60 to version 4.70:
Fixed an error that caused the device to shutdown when using myTrends.
Added support for a new OEM mount.
Changes from version 4.50 to version 4.60:
Fixed an error that sometimes caused map updates to not work properly.

Sadly the distance to turn bug is still there, the bug with the traffic icon not turning grey is still there. At least this update didn't break my bluetooth.

If I'm on a bluetooth call and my 3760 wants to give me a direction it re-boots. Not very helpfull.

I upgraded to v4.7 yesterday on my 3760. did a 50m journey in Uk. That was Ok
The return was not!!
On a dual carriage straight road the route took me off the main road up a slip to a high level roundabout then back down on to straight rd.
Then soon after it recalculated half way round another roundabout on its declared route and stuck on 80% 'done' then after 5 mins went to 99% and hung. However the map still moved.
I rebooted to take me the 25 miles home. It gave me a route along a motorway [ M25} miles out of my way adding 25mins to the expected journey.
I turned off at my normal exit and it recalc'd and took me home as expected.
What is going on. Have done several '000 miles in france with no problems this year
What is going on? anyone else having a problem?

Did you do a reset of your Nuvi after you did the firmware update? That is always a good idea after an update to rid yourself of these weird problems. See http://www.gpspassion.com/forumsen/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=127932 for the procedures for your 3760 and remember to backup your favorites before doing the reset.

Update. ..
Did 100mile route today
Chose favourite destination. Then pressed Go. It calculated to 100% and voice gave 80% of the first command and it all crashed. Rebooted and it worked ok after that.
BTW the speed limit box is now rectangular and all grey in BOTTOM RH corner of map screen. It was not like that before hard reset.
Will continue monitoring

When you did the hard reset, the first selection you needed to make when the unit rebooted from the reset was what country you were in. It has been my experience that the rectangular speed limit box will appear if you selected a North American country (US or Canada) and the read circle will be used for most of the other countries listed. Did you pick the UK or England when that requested to make that selection?

Please remember that after a hard reset the GPS is basically "brain dead" and you need to reset all the defaults it asks you when it first reboots. Being placed in Garmin's HQ after the reboot along with the speed limit rectangle would are 2 indications that you have a North American Nuvi or you didn't set the default locations properly.

Thanks Rick
I have done another hard reset
We will see what that does will test again in a day or so
It didn't on first boot ask for location but the sats brought me back to my position in uk
Going thru the ' resets' one was ' map theme' which I didn't reset on first hard reset. Have now chosen 'UK' and the map has changed color to what I have been used to. Last time out motorways were dark brown ( US version?)
Now MW's are back to blue (Uk version) speed indicator won't go on till I roll.
Will keep you posted
Thanks again
Mike

I don't think your hard reset worked if you were not asked for a country, followed by some other setting options (can't remember them exactly).

Another indication that the reset may not have happened or may have been done incorrectly is that you had to change the map theme, as I believe the default theme should be tied to your country selection.

Hi Rick
Since my last post I have done 2x hard rests following the instructions exactly.[ more of that later]
I have just done another 100miles and the routing seems ok, no crashes and the route was as expected. It seems the re-sets did the routing trick

As to the resets I am sorry but that on no occasion did on 'reboot' did I get a ' location choice ' prompt. All my user data was reset and my first location was just W of Kansas City [ Garmin HQ ? ] .. I left the unit open to the sky and it quickly found my UK location.
I reset all my User data inc Map themes, which had defaulted to 'Garmin' . In the Uk theme Motorways are blue, Major 'A ' roads are Red ....I reverted to that
The only thing now that has changed since the 4.70
update is the change to the Speed limit box.. It was a Red circle with the limit speed within.
Now despite all the re-sets it is a Grey box with the word 'limit' and the numeric value below. The box is to the right of the speed indicator

I am wondering whether Garmin intended this change or it is a glitch. At least the indicator is there but I prefer the old coloured one.
Unless I have missed something here and it is a glitch, How do I pass the info on to Garmin for review & Change?
