I have been using the Garmin USA app on my iPhone 4S since October 16th without a problem. Today it no longer acquires the satellites. My wife has an identical phone and the app works fine on hers. Has anyone else experienced this problem and been able to resolve it?
I saw one reference to it in an early review of the app. The reviewer had the same problem, rebooted his iPhone and that fixed the problem. I've tried it twice and the problem persists.
Sometimes with apps deleting it from the phone then reinstalling it helps.
That might solve the problem, but I will lose the Favorites that I have programmed in. Do you know of any way of preserving those? Does the sync with iTunes include your favorites and will they be restored when the app in reinstalled?
