I've been searching the internet for days and cant find anything on this unit, the seller says its a light in the box product # 208832, but even entering the product id in the LITB website comes up with no results. They are all over ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180725749397&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:MOTORS:1123

I have already purchased it and installed it in my car, but now I find the user interface extremely lacking style, and the clock can only display 24 hour format, confirmed this from the seller, said it was designed that way.

Does anyone know of which firmwares I can safely flash to this device to give it a nicer looking user interface with a 12 hour clock?

I installed miopocket 4 and GPS Menu Pez to SD card but found them extremely sluggish, and not really what I'm looking for.

I used total commander and backed up the NFLASH folder and GPSData folder to my SD card and transferred it to my pc. Im assuming the NFLASH folder (had a little chip icon next to it on the devices screen) is the Nand flash files in case I mess it up?

If anyone has any more info on this unit please post it here. Thanks!

I have this radio also. It's the light in the box 00208677.
I haven't tried miopocket on it yet.
I have a weird issue with mine where I can't get the timezone to stay correct.
I edited the system.ini file on the sd card but it always goes back to gmt +8.
If you find anything else out about it, I would be interested.

Good to see another owner of this stereo, hopefully more will follow. If your talking about the settings.ini file on the sd card, I believe this is for the Nav software only (Sygic).

I haven't noticed this issue on mine, however I'm not used to 24 hour clock. I will pay attention next time I'm in my car and let you know if it happens to me too.

I would imagine the settings for time are in the internal flash drive somewhere under the nflash folder. Easiest way to get there is to search for GPS_Menu_Pez_-_SHANEA_800x480 in google, then put the files on root of sd card, put the card in the gps slot of stereo, and under the settings of the stereo, change the gps software location to the menu.exe for the pez software.

Once it loads up click the tools tab, then open total commander, then you can browse the system files.

I haven't had any time to mess with anything yet, but If I find anything out I'll let you know.

Does your stereo have good bass, the bass on mine isn't good at all. I hooked it up correctly, but am wondering if perhaps they marked wires wrong and have reversed polarity for the speakers. I say this because the steering control wires were labeled wrong on my unit, so I would imagine it's possible for the speakers too.

Well I have the same one and it is fine except the Nav setop I want to put TOM TOM or Garmin XT on the SD but not sure how to step by step. also were can I get an Antenna for it or a dtv set up? My time keeps resetting to CHina time. It will not stay. Also is there a more accurate wireing diagram for this? I cant figure out what KEY-, KEY+ is for.

key- and key+ along with the other brown w/black wire is for steering wheel control, if you have volume and up/down buttons on your steering wheel.

Also the brown wire labeled Ant ACC is actually for the illuminated buttons.

As for changing the gps, I haven't done so yet, but I would imagine you just take out the gps sd card, I would back it up if your going to use the same one, or use another sd card, and copy your new gps software to the sd card. Then go in settings on the stereo, then guider, then set the new location of your gps software .exe

I haven't tried the tv yet, if you search on ebay for car analog antenna that is what you need.

As for the time constantly changing to wrong timezone, it happens to my stereo as well. I contacted my seller and he said he will see if there is a firmware update and email it to me if there is. I will post a link if that happens

If anyone else can contact their seller and ask the same then post a link to the files that would be a great help. Thanks.

The seller sent me files to fix the timezone problem:

http://www.4shared.com/document/bU8QMfBn/instruction.html

http://www.4shared.com/file/jughDec7/time.html

I installed it, gives you a timezone setting in calendar settings. It looks like it's an actual firmware update.

That's awesome. I'll give it a try. I've been very happy with mine. It sounds better than the JVC dvd I pulled out of my car.
My seller was confused when I bought up the clock issue and the fact that you can't fast forward through mp4 files and offered me a partial refund.
I tried to buy an Innovatek 633PC so I could hook an actual pc up to my headunit but there is only one place I can find that sells it and they have no idea when they are getting any more.
They sold me the Innovatek W72 saying it had the same features.. but it doesn't.

I can download the instructions but it won't let me download the time.rar file for some reason.

Does anyone else have a black line at the bottom of the screen, like the screen isn't centered right? Also when playing songs from the sd card it displays Chinese for the artist and album. Not to mention for the song name it only displays 14 characters or so.

I tried executing the apps from a yf chinese unit to no avail, does anyone know of a way to change out some of the apps to better ones (like radio, sd, etc)?

My only other problem with this stereo is there is no way to display time in 12 hour format, if anyone can figure that out please let me know.

I don't have the black line that I've noticed anyway. To fix the chinese artists we need to get the language packs for english.
