Hi Marvin,
I have a new laptop. How do I move my MS S&T (2010)and maps to my new computer?
I'd buy the 2011 edition ( is it out yet?)but if I do, can I transfer my 2010 trips to the 2011 S&T?

Thought I'd reply to myself.......no one else did.
Damn, as a retired teacher, I've always lived by the saying that there is no such thing as a stupid question.
Is that the percieved situation here?
How 'bout this: If I install S&T 2011, will my old maps work?

Hi Tim, and happy holidays to you and yours. Yes, new versions are compatible with files saved in S&T version up to several years old. However, before opening an older file in a new version, it is a good practice to first make a duplicate copy of the old file(s), just in case the conversion to the new version doesn't go completely right.
