Does anyone know if the traffic reporting changed with the new TeleAtlas Maps? I took a trip to downtown Chicago today. No traffic problems at all. Coming or going. However, my 5045LM showed over an hour delay going to downtown Chicago. Now, there was no cleared up crash or anything. I listened to the traffic reports for an hour before we left. There was no problem at all at anytime. However, the 5045LM showed delays at various places. My wife looked at it while I was driving. It even showed a 45 minute delay up until I got off the expressway. Then it went down to no delay. I know that traffic can be iffy anyway, but this was really bad. Coming home, it showed a 45 minute delay. Then as I passed areas where the delays were supposed to be, the delay time gradually went down to nothing. So, has the traffic provider changed?

Doess anyone know if older units like the Maestro 4050 and 4250 will continue to use the Navteq traffic system or have they also been changed to the Clear Channel system? I have one each of these two Maestros in which the traffic subscriptions have recently expired and was considering renewing them before I read of the problems people seem to be having with Clear Channel.
Good point, not sure how the subscriptions get reactivated though, they could probably figure out a way to program a new code when that happens. Any luch finding out for sure from them?
