Hey all first post ,, this forum was really helpul so i decided to register.
Guide to Reset a Nuvi 250 !
if you have a Nuvi 250 series and its bricked .use the following files
1. Download and install the latest USB drivers from our website which can be found here <http://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=591> 2. Download the zip file http://www.mediafire.com/?mb1wg8d2k18g9d8 file to your desktop 3. Extract the contents of the file 4. Make sure your GPS is turned off and disconnected from the computer 5. Drag the.rgn file and drop it on top of the Updater.exe (or Updater) file 6. With your GPS turned off, plug it into the computer 7. Click the "USB Device" button 8. When your GPS shows up in the USB Device field, click OK 9. Click "Yes" if prompted 10. Once this process is complete, disconnect your unit from the computer and allow it to restart
the nuvi 250 should be back to life
edit : I have successfully revived my nuvi 250 several times !
