Wasn't aware of this phone, so I googled it http://thisisinq.com/phones/inq-chat-3g/

Doesn't look like it has built-in GPS so it's going to be a tall oder, even more so for on-road navigation. I would look into getting a cheap AIO from Garmin or TomTom.

There is some discussion here about this http://getsatisfaction.com/inqmobile/topics/how_do_i_start_using_gps_on_my_inq_chat_3g I would check with http://www.alk.com/ to see if their application would work? It looks like the operating system behind the handset is Brew from Qualcomm, so that may limit the choices.

don't see what im looking for on the alk.com site...all i see is the one for a car nav, which i have one for my car, would like to use my cell as a handheld one, unless of course i can put another program on my car nav ( which is WINCE based) what will allow me to walk in and out of the woods. but would prefer it on my cell as it is more portable
