I made a simple SOCKS server that binds to a port but the DATA I get is just "d0:d7:01:00:47:52:7c:3c" or in ASCII "????GR|<?" and that is all. I was wondering do I need to send something like "LOAD" to the GPS like the newer versions of the firmwire of TK 102. Can anyone give me some info on that.
Cherya - did you ever get anywhere with this. i'm trying to do it in perl through xinetd but struggling. i get the heartbeat, but unsure how to accept, and make it send the gps data.
