 White screen on 255W after flashing		  New Topic  Reply/Répondre

Hi guys,

while i was flashing my 255W brought from USA, to SG/MY (singapore/malaysia) version. the screen turned white.

even during reboot, the screen remains white.
i cant seen to get the unit to reflash again as i cant press the top left corner of the screen to get into flashing mode.

Please advise.

I've had the white screen too. The reset button on the bottom of the unit has got it to restart for me before.

hi guys,

anyone got a solution to this? i also encountered the same problem. my garmin unit turned white after flashing.

It's might be happen if you convert USA to SG/MY on Garmin Mainboard S4. It only support for Garmin Mainboard S3.

I also have the same problem but mine is nuvi 660. Happened after manualy loading the wrong update file.

Hi! I have the same problem in my 255w. Is there any solution to get into preboot?
